Scientiae Studies

With Amsterdam University Press, Scientiae has its own series aptly named Scientiae Studies. Its main premise will sound familiar: ‘…that knowledge during the early modern period was pre-disciplinary, and that, similarly, theories and practices, confronted with a rapidly growing body of new objects, had yet to be separated into their modern ‘scientific’ configurations.’ We invite book proposals that speak to this premise, both edited volumes and single or multi-authored monographs. For full details see the AUP Scientiae Studies page.
